Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and answering questions about menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, processing payments and giving correct change while balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary, ensuring all food safety standards are followed diligently.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without sacrificing quality or friendliness.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS confidently.
• Strong skills in retail math and cash handling to ensure accurate transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for processing payments and managing register operations confidently.
