*Responsibilities*

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.

• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking their orders accurately and efficiently.

• Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system for processing payments.

• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.

• Provide recommendations based on customer tastes and preferences to enhance their experience.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food industry.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

*Skills*

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.

• Proficiency in basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations.

• Time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.

• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction and milk frothing.

• Familiarity with the POS system is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

• Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.

• A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to work as part of a team are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
