Barista Job Summary

Join the Barista staff at Mocha Point Coffee: the First Yemeni coffee shop in the entire KC AREA

Duties

• Prepare a variety of beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks
• Operate Toast POS systems
• Greet customers warmly, take orders, and serve beverages and food items promptly to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas to uphold food safety standards
• Follow food handling procedures to ensure safe preparation and storage of food items
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers quickly without sacrificing quality

Requirements

• Prior experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Capable of standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting moderate loads as needed

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
