Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using standard recipes and equipment.
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Take customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
• Assist with food preparation and food safety procedures to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
• Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
• Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, addressing questions or concerns professionally.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, order accuracy, and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Prior experience in serving or food industry roles is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $17.95-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
