Barista

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Aloha POS system for processing customer orders and payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Assist in food handling and preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Continuously learn about new products and techniques to enhance beverage offerings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation methods and equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Proficient time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate POS systems, preferably Aloha or similar software.
• A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
