Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing exceptional service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and functioning properly
• Follow food safety standards diligently to uphold hygiene and quality standards
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light bites when needed
• Manage cash register transactions efficiently, handling payments with basic math skills
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, notifying management when stock needs replenishing
• Practice effective time management to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining high service standards

Experience

• Previous barista experience or background in serving beverages is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure health standards are met consistently
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus, especially in assembling simple menu items
• Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Experience in serving customers with professionalism and positive attitude

Pay: £13.50-£19.50 per hour
