Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees and teas, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, process cash transactions, and handle credit card payments efficiently
• Serve food items promptly, ensuring proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, tables, equipment, and food prep zones, adhering to food safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations
• Manage retail sales transactions smoothly while balancing cash drawers at shift end
• Support team members during busy periods by assisting with beverage preparation, serving duties, or cleaning tasks as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred; barista experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of beverage service techniques and non-alcoholic drink preparation
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales and transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing payments accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Experience in retail sales transactions is advantageous but not required

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
