About Us:

Rumi Cafe is a specialty coffee shop in the Paris 8eme, around the Parc Monceau / Ternes area, focused on light roasts and new wave coffee. We aim to deliver the highest quality coffee, matcha, tea and dessert options to our neighborhood. Our concept is a warm and inviting cafe inspired by Levantine heritage- with seasonal special menu items. Aside from our house beans, we will be showcasing the best guest coffee roasters from around the world.

Our opening hours are:

Monday to Friday: 8:30AM to 7PM

Saturday: 9AM to 7PM

Sunday 9AM to 6:30PM

Salary:

2,500€ for 39 hours

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to develop coffee recipes
• Prepare high-quality espresso-based drinks, teas, matchas and filtered coffee
• Receive and prep daily food deliveries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, food display area and full café space
• Operate coffee equipment and follow health & safety standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of barista experience in a specialty coffee shop
• Must be willing to commit to 1 trial day during interview process
• Must be willing to work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
• Strong knowledge of espresso machines, grinders, and manual brew methods
• Latte art
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication skills and very attuned to hospitality and customer service
• French and English working proficiency level required
