Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food preparation areas and equipment
• Follow food safety standards diligently to ensure quality and hygiene at all times
• Manage cash register operations, handle transactions efficiently, and provide correct change
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light menu items when needed
• Monitor stock levels of supplies and notify management when replenishments are required

Requirements

• Prior experience as a barista or in serving roles is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Knowledge of food safety practices to uphold health standards in food handling and beverage preparation
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory checks
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks involved in food prep and cleaning
• A proactive attitude with attention to detail to ensure consistency in beverage quality and cleanliness standards

Pay: £12.71-£16.00 per hour
