Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, adhering to quality standards and recipes
• Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit
• Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling and sanitation practices in compliance with food safety standards
• Manage cash handling duties efficiently, including processing cash transactions and giving accurate change
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely service during busy periods
• Uphold food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or food service background preferred; familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations
• Experience with retail sales transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• A proactive attitude with enthusiasm for serving others and creating welcoming atmospheres
