Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems.
• Serve food items promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, answer questions about menu items, and recommend beverages or snacks to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, coffee equipment, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with health regulations
• Handle retail sales transactions smoothly, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed to support the team during busy periods
• Located in Hotel Zoso we will be operating a "Room Service" aspect. This will require movement to the room delivering food/drink items.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key!
• Barista experience is highly desirable; familiarity with beverage preparation techniques is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Food Handlers licenses needed but can set that up for you to receive.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
