A DMC Barista operates and maintains retail stores while representing all DMC core values. This position must engage and execute all tasks and development training given by their respective Store Manager (SM) and Assistant Manager (AM). This job requires some heavy lifting up to 60 lbs.

The Barista position is hourly tip-eligible, with a starting pay rate of $16.00/hr for tipped shifts and $17.05/ hr for all untipped training shifts. After 90 days, Baristas are eligible for comprehensive health insurance that includes medical, dental, vision, accident, critical illness, STD/LTD, and voluntary life insurance. • Comprehension and knowledge retention of current and upcoming products through email releases and flawlessly executing all QC feedback forms and quizzes on time.
• Using materials for guidance, maintain a clean and presentable workplace and service area.

Teamwork

• Full comprehension of proper channels of communication in every scenario
• Exceptional communication with AMs and SMs on current events in store to drive performance
• Engage with new staff members in the barista training program to assist in skills and development

Technical Skills

• Protect and maintain company assets and equipment - communicate all issues to store leadership to resolve issues efficiently.
• Trains and understands DMC equipment function.
• Trains and understands POS and cash handling procedures.
• Trains and understands DMC espresso bar and brewing skills, including handcraft methods
