Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately while providing knowledgeable product recommendations.
• Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling and preparation procedures.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including snack assembly or light food service duties in the café area.
• Handle cash register operations confidently, including cashiering and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role within a café or retail environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
• Familiarity with POS systems for seamless sales processing.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a friendly, energetic attitude.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 40.0 per week
