Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Handle food preparation and service, including assembling sandwiches, snacks, or baked goods
• Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accurately
• Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all areas of the café or food service space
• Manage cash register transactions with basic math skills to ensure accurate payments and change
• Assist with stock replenishment, inventory checks, and food handling to keep the workspace organized and compliant

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or food service background is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent time management to handle busy periods effectively
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and transaction accuracy
• Experience in serving, food preparation, or general food industry roles is a plus
