Barista/All Rounder

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team for zero hours contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation areas.
• Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and handling transactions efficiently.
• Maintain an organised workspace, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.00-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week
