Barista/All Rounder

Job Summary

Blacklock City is looking for a friendly and reliable Barista to join the team. The successful candidate will prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming bar area.

Job Description

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverages.
• Operate coffee machines and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments when required.
• Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and portion standards.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Keep the coffee station, equipment, and service areas clean and organised.
• Restock coffee, milk, cups, and other beverage supplies.
• Monitor stock levels and report low supplies to the relevant team member.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness procedures.
• Work closely with the wider restaurant team during busy service periods.
• Assist with opening, closing, and general cleaning duties.
• Respond politely to customer questions and requests.

Qualifications

• Previous barista, café, restaurant, or hospitality experience is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and well organised.
• Willingness to learn and develop barista skills.

Pay: £11.00-£22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33.0 per week
