Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods while maintaining food safety standards
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity and attention to detail
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including front counter, kitchen area, and dining space
• Support food service operations by assisting with serving food, restocking supplies, and ensuring timely delivery of orders

Skills

• Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for smooth transaction processing
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Effective time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and inventory management
• Experience in the food industry or food service environment is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when needed
