A good café isn’t just about what’s in the cup. It’s the welcome when someone walks in, remembering a regular’s order and making sure customers leave happier than when they arrived.

We’re looking for a Barista / Café Assistant to join our Glasgow team. If you’re naturally friendly, enjoy being around people and don’t mind getting stuck in when things get busy, you could fit in well here.

Experience is a plus, but not essential. We’ll provide training and give you the support you need to learn the role.

What a Shift Looks Like

There’s plenty of variety throughout the day. You’ll be:

• Welcoming customers and taking orders
• Preparing coffees, hot drinks and other menu items
• Serving food and drinks with care
• Handling payments accurately
• Keeping tables, counters and customer areas tidy
• Restocking cups, ingredients and supplies
• Following food hygiene and safety procedures
• Helping the rest of the team during busy periods

We’re Looking for Someone Who...

Enjoys working with people, turns up ready to contribute and notices when something needs doing.

You’ll need to be comfortable working on your feet, able to stay organised when there’s a queue and happy working closely with the people around you.

Previous experience in a café, restaurant, bar, retail or customer service role would be useful, but isn’t essential as training is provided.
