Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Take customer orders accurately using our POS system
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change using cash handling best practices
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation
• Assist with food handling, food preparation, and serving snacks or light meals to guests
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
• Support our daily operations by restocking supplies, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols

Skills

• Food service experience, with barista experience a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient and accurate sales processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours seamlessly
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a café environment
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a lively, energetic attitude
