Duties

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with skill and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Handle retail sales transactions, including cash handling, processing payments, and giving correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning equipment, counters, and dining spaces regularly.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Follow food safety protocols during food handling and beverage preparation to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist with food preparation when needed, including basic food handling and serving items promptly.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in beverage service, drink preparation, and café operations is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities smoothly during peak hours.

Pay: $22.25 - $26.80 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
