Barista/Cashier

Your Role: Create Exceptional Beverages

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, specialty beverages, and teas with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Follow recipes, portioning standards, and presentation guidelines to ensure every drink meets Chios quality standards.
• Warm and serve bakery and pastry items according to guest requests.

Deliver Memorable Guest Experiences

• Welcome guests with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
• Build connections through excellent service, product knowledge, and thoughtful recommendations.
• Help create an inviting atmosphere that encourages guests to return again and again.

Maintain a Clean and Organized Café

• Keep workstations clean, stocked, and ready for service at all times.
• Replenish ingredients, syrups, cups, supplies, and equipment throughout your shift.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and organization standards are consistently maintained.

What We're Looking For

• Previous barista experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic.
• Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
• Experience with Square POS systems is considered an asset.
