Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of coffee drinks and beverages with precision, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide exceptional service to enhance their visit.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales swiftly and accurately, including cash handling and card transactions.
• Manage food safety protocols, including proper food handling, preparation, and serving standards in accordance with health regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas to promote a safe and inviting environment.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product levels to meet customer demand efficiently.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.

Experience

• Prior experience working as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus.
• Proven ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS confidently.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and register balancing.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry.
• Experience managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced café or retail environment.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
