Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with precision.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide exceptional customer service to foster a welcoming environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage food preparation tasks related to light food items or snacks as needed, ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness to ensure optimal quality.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Experience

• Demonstrated ability in cash handling, cashiering, and retail sales transactions using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly valued.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and familiarity with coffee industry standards are advantageous.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing change confidently.
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is a plus.
