Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Handle cash register transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and provide friendly assistance throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by handling food properly and following health regulations
• Manage food preparation tasks, including assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed
• Ensure timely service by managing multiple orders simultaneously through effective time management skills
• Assist in stocking supplies, cleaning work areas, and ensuring the overall presentation of the store remains inviting

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with serving and food handling is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
• Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
• Food industry experience that demonstrates reliability and a passion for hospitality is desirable
