Barista/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated experienced Barista and cashier to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
• Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make quality drinks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee preparation area
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a POS system
• Assist in food preparation and serving as needed
• Follow food safety standards to ensure the health and safety of customers

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role in Canada is required
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and processing payments
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
