Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Create delicious crepes and other light food items with precision and care, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Process retail sales transactions accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments while maintaining excellent cashiering practices.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space by following food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers promptly without compromising quality.
• Assist with food handling, beverage service, and drink preparation to deliver a memorable experience for every guest.

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is most important!
• Barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation is highly valued.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in processing transactions.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments, and managing sales accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure health regulations are met.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards.
