Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks with precision and flair, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup
• Create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions, assisting customers in selecting the perfect blooms
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Operate POS systems
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in both the café and floral sections, adhering to food handling protocols
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for sales transactions
• Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and organizing floral displays to ensure an inviting environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee preparation skills and familiarity with café operations
• Experience in floral design or a keen interest in creating floral arrangements is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
• Knowledge of POS systems
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales processing
• Commitment to food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
