Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and light food items in accordance with café standards.
• Support food safety protocols by handling ingredients properly and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, snacks, or baked goods.
• Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions, cash handling, and cashiering duties.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace including counters, equipment, and storage areas.
• Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a positive experience.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in food service environments with coffee experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks seamlessly during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced café or retail setting while maintaining attention to detail.
