Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, including coffee, Chai, and specialty drinks
• Serve food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Operate POS systems such as Toast for retail sales transactions, processing cash and card payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, kitchen stations, and dining space in accordance with food safety standards
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly
• Handle food preparation tasks with attention to food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and smooth operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is highly valued
• Familiarity with POS systems for sales processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving accurate change
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
