Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Take customer orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring smooth transactions
• Serve food items confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Handle cash and process payments efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and maintain cleanliness
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; enthusiasm for learning is essential
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the workspace, and lift moderate loads as needed
• Familiarity with Micros POS or similar cash register systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided
