Barista/Server

Overview
We’re looking for someone who can Smile, passionate, skilled, and creative Baristas & Server to join our team, people who love coffee, great conversation, and bringing their unique personality to every interaction. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while following health regulations.
• Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained regularly for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Assisting with creating content for social media

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively.
• Time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a hygienic work environment.
• Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £10.00-£14.50 per hour
