About the Role

A new indoor kids’ play area in Dubai is looking for a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Barista / Waiter to support the venue’s café operations.

The successful candidate will prepare and serve beverages, assist with food service, maintain café cleanliness, process customer orders, and provide excellent service to families visiting the venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, hot chocolate, matcha, cold beverages, and other menu items according to standard recipes.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment safely and correctly.
• Take customer orders accurately and provide friendly, efficient table and counter service.
• Serve sandwiches, snacks, desserts, children’s meals, and beverages according to presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised café, counter, seating area, and service station.
• Clear and reset tables promptly.
• Ensure cups, utensils, napkins, condiments, and service items are always adequately stocked.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleaning procedures at all times.
• Check product quality, expiry dates, storage conditions, and stock rotation.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organising café supplies.
• Inform the supervisor of low-stock items, equipment faults, or product-quality concerns.
• Support birthday parties, school trips, group bookings, and special events with food and beverage service.
• Coordinate with Party Hosts and operations staff to ensure party food and beverage orders are delivered on time.
• Handle customer requests, allergies, dietary requirements, and special orders carefully.
• Process POS transactions and payments when required.
• Promote café products and suggest suitable add-ons or upgrades where appropriate.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including equipment cleaning and workstation preparation.
• Ensure all food-contact areas and equipment are sanitised according to required standards.
• Follow company grooming, customer-service, food-safety, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista, Waiter, or Food & Beverage Server is preferred.
• Experience in the UAE hospitality, café, restaurant, or family entertainment industry is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso-based beverages.
• Good customer-service and communication skills.
• Friendly, energetic, and comfortable working around children and families.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately during busy periods.
• Good understanding of hygiene and food-safety practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active duties.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic or another language is an advantage.
• Food-safety or barista certification is an advantage.

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
