Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas.
• Follow food safety standards diligently to ensure all products meet health regulations.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately using basic math skills; process payments efficiently.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables or customers seamlessly.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed to enhance customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making equipment is highly preferred.
• Proven serving experience in a fast-paced environment demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to uphold hygiene standards at all times.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours without compromising quality.
• Experience with food preparation techniques is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is valued.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
