Barista is responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. This role requires speed, precision, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

​Key Responsibilities

• ​Beverage Preparation: Handcraft espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, cold brews, and teas according to company standards and customized guest preferences.
• ​Customer Engagement: Welcome guests, answer menu questions, offer tailored recommendations, and efficiently take orders at the register.
• ​Bar Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workspace, including bean hoppers, syrups, milk stations, and pastry cases.
• ​Equipment Maintenance: Safely operate, clean, and calibrate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment throughout the day and at closing.
• ​Food Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines, including proper dairy storage temperature and surface sanitization.

​Key Qualifications

• ​Experience: 1+ years of specialty coffee or food service experience preferred (on-the-job training provided for the right candidate).
• ​Skills: Solid foundation in espresso extraction, milk steaming/texturing, and basic latte art techniques.
• ​Communication: Clear, friendly communication with guests and strong team coordination during high-volume rushes.
• ​Punctuality & Stamina: Ability to stand for extended shifts, lift up to 30 lbs (milk crates, coffee bags), and maintain speed under pressure.

• ​Attention to Detail: Consistently dialing in espresso shots and delivering balanced drink builds.
• ​Multitasking: Managing order queues, drink prep, and customer touchpoints simultaneously.
