Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and care
• Ensure all food safety standards are maintained to guarantee quality and safety for customers
• Engage with guests warmly, taking their orders accurately and providing friendly, efficient service
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when needed
• Manage transactions efficiently using point-of-sale systems, handling cash or card payments with basic math skills
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including equipment, counters, and dining areas, adhering to health regulations
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and keep the flow smooth

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in serving roles within food service environments
• Knowledge of food safety practices and standards to ensure hygienic operations
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members
• Capable of food preparation tasks, including assembling drinks and light snacks efficiently
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week

Work Location: In person
