Bartender (14th Street)

Ted's Bulletin is a neighborhood restaurant known for all-day breakfast, classic American comfort food, boozy milkshakes, cocktails, and our famous Ted's Tarts. We serve a high-volume mix of breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and bar guests, and we're looking for an experienced full-time bartender to join our team. We're looking for someone who brings genuine hospitality to the bar while also being fast, organized, and dependable. Our bartenders are expected to know the menu, make consistent and well-executed drinks, engage with guests, and work closely with the rest of the restaurant team. This is not just a drink-making position - bartenders at Ted's play an important role in the overall guest experience.This is a full-time position with availability needed across all shifts, including mornings, brunches, evenings, weekends, and holidays. What You'll Do-Provide warm, attentive, and efficient service to bar guests-Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and consistently-Learn and confidently speak about our food and beverage menus-Take food and beverage orders and properly enter them into the POS-Maintain speed and organization during high-volume service-Monitor guests and follow responsible alcohol-service practices-Keep the bar clean, stocked, organized, and ready for service-Complete opening, closing, and ongoing side work-Maintain appropriate prep and par levels throughout the shift-Communicate with managers, servers, baristas, and kitchen team members to keep service moving-Follow recipes, portioning standards, sanitation procedures, and company policies-Help create a positive and professional environment for both guests and coworkers What We're Looking For-Previous bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar environment preferred-Strong guest-service and communication skills-Ability to stay calm, organized, and professional during busy service-Reliable attendance and punctuality-Ability to work as part of a team and respond well to direction-Comfortable handling cash and performing basic calculations-Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds-Open availability for full-time scheduling, including breakfast/brunch, nights, weekends, and holidays-Alcohol-service certification as required by applicable law Our people are what make Ted's Bulletin what it is.
