Bartender/ All rounder

About the role

One Tree Buffet is a premium Chinese & Japanese seafood buffet located in Greenlane, Auckland. We are looking for a reliable, energetic and experienced Bartender / All-Rounder to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced hospitality environment and is willing to take on responsibility across both the bar and front-of-house.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and serving cocktails, wine, beer and other beverages
• Create new cocktails and able to do costing
• Assisting with hosting and payment
• Providing friendly, attentive and professional service
• Setting up, operating and maintaining the bar area
• Hosting guests, make bookings and processing payments accurately using POS systems
• Supporting the front-of-house team during busy service
• Actively assisting on the floor with guests, clearing tables and other service duties when required
• Assisting with restaurant opening and closing procedures
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service
• Working closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations

About you

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience
• Energetic, active and enthusiastic attitude
• Someone who is happy to work both behind the bar and on the restaurant floor
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well under pressure
• A team player who is willing to help wherever needed
• Ability to work in a busy, high-volume restaurant environment
• Duty Manager Certificate / LCQ is a big plus
• Weekend and evening availability is preferred
