Bartender & Barback

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bartender & Barback to join our lively hospitality team at Tap 2.0 . This dual role combines the art of mixology with essential bar support duties, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong spirits and wine knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Valid ABC certification and being 21 or older are required to comply with legal alcohol service regulations. This position offers an engaging work environment where speed, attention to detail, and hospitality expertise are valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages with skill and professionalism.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems, ensuring proper handling of all sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area by restocking all supplies including alcohol, beer, mixers, fruits, paper goods, and ice at the start and end of each shift.
• Keep the bar stocked at all times during service to ensure smooth operations.
• Take out trash cans once full on both bars, including recycling cans, and ensure the bar floors are clean and safe.
• Providing excellent hospitality to guests. Taking food orders and running food.
• Work efficiently with speed to meet customer demands during busy hours.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless bar operations and guest satisfaction.
• Uphold all safety standards and legal requirements related to alcohol service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in spirits, mixology, wine knowledge, and cocktail preparation.
• Previous food service or restaurant industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions.
• Valid ABC Card required; must be 21 years or older to serve alcohol legally.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Experience working in hospitality or the restaurant industry is highly desirable.

Pay: From $2.83 per hour
