Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and energetic manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Manage lottery ticket sales by verifying IDs, explaining game rules, and handling cash or electronic payments securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Develop beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to promote sales and customer satisfaction.
• Handle cash register operations, process transactions swiftly, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
• Support bar management by assisting with inventory checks, restocking supplies, and adhering to alcohol service regulations.

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits.
• Proven ability in food handling, beverage preparation, and food safety standards within a hospitality or restaurant setting.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty.
• Effective time management skills to handle busy shifts while maintaining quality service.
• Ability to develop new beverage recipes and stay current with industry trends in fine dining and brewing.
• Experience in retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction balancing.
• Previous bartending or restaurant experience including banquet or catering settings is highly desirable.
