Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits while adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Toast.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring a positive experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and beverage stations
• Process cash transactions accurately and handle cash handling responsibilities with integrity
• Assist in food service by delivering dishes promptly and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates based on current trends and customer preferences
• Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and monitor alcohol consumption for responsible service
• Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times
• Support bar management in daily operations, including setup, breakdown, and maintaining a lively atmosphere suitable for nightlife or banquet events

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending or serving within the hospitality industry; fine dining or casual dining experience is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, and spirits expertise
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle challenging situations gracefully
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between serving drinks and food
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and accurate order processing
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with beverage recipe development is a plus; catering or banquet experience is beneficial
• Restaurant experience or familiarity with serving at large events can be advantageous
• Strong communication skills coupled with a professional appearance; ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Dress Code will be expected.

Pay: $8.25 - $15.25 per hour
