Bartender and shift lead

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to join our team as a Bartender and Shift Lead. This pivotal role combines bartending skills with leadership responsibilities, ensuring exceptional service and smooth operations during your shift. As part of our team you will manage daily bar activities, and motivate your team to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails
• Lead your shift by supervising staff, coordinating service flow, and ensuring high-quality customer interactions at all times
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that excite our guests and reflect current trends in mixology
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; handle cash handling with precision and accountability
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in accordance with food safety regulations; ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
• Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions about drinks or menu items, and foster a welcoming atmosphere
• Manage inventory levels for beverages and supplies

Requirements

• Must be be fluent in Spanish
• Must be available evenings Thursday through Sunday
• Proven experience in bartending with a strong foundation in cocktail creation, mixology, and beverage recipe development
• Prior restaurant or food service experience
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and manage shift operations effectively in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
