Bartender Assistant - BARBACK

Lauderdale Yacht Club is a Premiere Private Club open to Members and Guests only near downtown Fort Lauderdale focusing on a family friendly experience for its Members and Guests. We provide food and beverage services, (fine dining and upscale casual dining) social activities, with sailing, tennis, fitness center, an Olympic size swimming pool, and summer camp and other activities for children. We are a Platinum Club of America.

Job Summary
Assist Bartender with restocking the bar with liquor, non-alcoholic beverage items, ice, condiments, glassware, and other bar items or supplies needed to provide exceptional service to Club Members and Guests with a positive attitude and a warm and friendly demeanor. Assist Bartender with pouring wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages as needed in order to expedite service of beverages to Members and Guests.

What you’ll do

• Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Adhere to food safety standards and regulations while handling food and beverages.
• Assist Bartender with pouring wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages as needed in order to expedite service of beverages to Members and Guests.
• Collaborate with the team during busy shifts to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced enviroment.

Basic qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred, especially in fine dining or private club environments.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
