Bartender Associate

Springfield Country Club is looking for an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Bartender to join our FoodBeverage team!

We are seeking a bartender who understands that great service is about more than pouring a drink- it's about creating a welcoming experience for our Members and their guests.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous bartending experience required; country club, upscale restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• Strong knowledge of responsible alcohol service and proper drink preparation
• Friendly, professional, and personable demeanor
• Ability to provide exceptional service while maintaining a clean and organized bar
• Comfortable working in a face-paced environment and handling multiple orders at once during golf season and busy events
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and dependable with excellent attendance
• Ability to anticipate Members' needs and deliver attentive, personalized service
• Must be available for a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Club standards
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to Members and their guests
• Take food orders and serve dining room(s) as needed
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar throughout shift
• Accurately enter orders and process Member chits
• Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock items to management
• Follow all Club policies, service standards, and responsible alcohol-service guidelines
• Work closely with servers, back servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless Member experience
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times

Job types: Part-time

Pay range: $11-$11.50 per hour plus a portion of the service charge on every check, not including potential cash tips and/or gratuity disbursements.

Education/Experience:

• High school or equivalent (preferred but not required)
