The Role

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Catering Event Bartender to join our growing events team across the San Francisco Bay Area.

You’ll help deliver smooth and professional beverage service at a range of events. No two shifts are the same. One day you could be serving cocktails at a stylish wedding and the next you could be part of a large corporate event team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Set up, stock, run, and break down event bars

· Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks

· Follow drink recipes and portion guidelines accurately

· Provide friendly and attentive customer service throughout events

· Check guest identification where required

· Operate POS systems and handle transactions correctly

· Maintain cleanliness and organisation behind the bar

· Work closely with the catering and events team to ensure smooth service

· Follow all company safety and liquor service procedures

· Assist in other operational areas when needed

The Person

You will need to be an all-round bartender able to execute high-volume orders as well as being a great team player in the kitchen arena

The Person

· At least 2 years’ bartending experience

· Strong cocktail and beverage knowledge

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· A professional and polished appearance

· Confidence working independently and within a team

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and early mornings

· A valid California Food Handlers Card

· A valid ABC Responsible Beverage Service certificate

· A valid driving licence and reliable transport

· Sound knowledge of food & beverage health and safety regulations.

· Constant standing and walking

· Frequent lifting/pushing/pulling objects up to 10-15 lbs, occasionally lifting/pushing/pulling objects up to 30 lbs, rarely lifting/pushing/pulling objects up to 100 lbs (with assistance) and working in busy and sometimes loud event environments.

Covid Vaccination is required for this role. Reasonable adjustments will be considered in line with applicable regulations.

This is an hourly post. Attendance will be required in line with the business requirements, including at weekends, holidays and in the early mornings as well as evenings, based on rotating scheduling.
