Great music, a room full of personality, and a team that cares about the details. Clockwork is looking for two experienced bartenders who bring energy, take initiative, and make guests feel like they’re exactly where they should be.

We’re a restaurant and cocktail bar in downtown Raleigh where dinner service turns into a busy late night. During the holidays, our Nutcracker Christmas bar takes things to another level. We’re building a team that can handle the pace while making every guest feel welcome.

What we’re looking for

• At least 3 years of bartending experience.
• High-volume experience is a big plus.
• A friendly, engaging personality and the ability to connect with different types of guests.
• Attention to detail, organization, and a sense of urgency.
• Someone who notices what needs to happen and takes initiative.
• Reliability, clear communication, and a willingness to help teammates.

Craft cocktail knowledge is welcome, but it isn’t required. We can teach our recipes and techniques. Bring experience behind the bar, good habits, and a willingness to learn.

What the job involves

Preparing consistent drinks, taking care of bar guests, supporting table service, keeping your station stocked and clean, handling transactions accurately, and completing opening and closing duties. You should be able to stay aware of the room while keeping service moving.

Current shifts

• Monday or Tuesday: 3 p.m.–close
• Friday and Saturday opening shifts : 2–9 p.m.
• As you progress there will be availability for more shifts & pickup of other weekly shifts as well.

Availability for these shifts and the busy holiday season is important.

Our interview process

We start with a phone screening, followed by an in-person interview with our manager and owner. The final step is a stage—a paid working trial shift where you can meet the team, experience the pace, and get a feel for Clockwork. It’s a chance for both sides to see whether we’re a good fit. We want you to feel good about choosing us, too.
