Duties

• Prepare and serve a diverse selection of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers—including craft beer—and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials or new offerings.
• Manage POS systems such as Clover POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to enhance the menu offerings.
• Handle cash register operations, process payments, and give accurate change using basic math skills.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service during busy hours or events like banquets and catering functions.

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably with fine dining or upscale bar settings.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and brewing processes.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS for efficient order processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Experience in food handling, beverage presentation, and food safety practices.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience in bar management or supervising staff is a plus but not required.
