Event Bartender

Saxon Manor Weddings & Events | Brooksville, Florida

Saxon Manor Weddings & Events is seeking a dependable, professional, and personable bartender to join our wedding and event team. This position is ideal for someone who provides excellent guest service, works well in a fast-paced environment, and understands responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities

● Set up and organize the bar before each event

● Serve beer, wine, cocktails, and nonalcoholic beverages

● Prepare drinks accurately and efficiently

● Check identification and follow all alcohol-service laws and venue policies

● Monitor guest alcohol consumption and refuse service when necessary

● Keep the bar, counters, coolers, and surrounding areas clean and organized

● Restock beverages, ice, cups, garnishes, and other supplies throughout the event

● Communicate professionally with guests, coordinators, vendors, and other staff members

● Follow the event timeline, including scheduled bar opening, last call, and closing

● Assist with bar breakdown, cleanup, and inventory at the end of the event

● Report any guest concerns, spills, shortages, or safety issues to the event coordinator

● Maintain a polished and professional appearance while representing Saxon Manor

Qualifications

● Previous bartending, banquet, restaurant, wedding, or event experience is preferred

● Knowledge of common cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service

● No POS system

• cash-handling experience is required

● Friendly, respectful, and professional demeanor

● Strong communication and customer-service skills

● Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy

● Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy event environment

● Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

● Ability to stand for extended periods and lift beverage cases, ice, coolers, and bar supplies

● Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule

● Bartending or responsible alcohol-service certification is preferred

● Compensation: Based on experience and position responsibilities
