Bartender

Job Summary

Porky's Backyard is seeking an experienced, energetic, and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of bartending experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest service. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
• Verify guest identification and comply with all alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area throughout each shift.
• Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible alcohol service.
• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with inventory management, restocking, and ordering supplies as needed.
• Set up and break down the bar before and after service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Strong cash-handling and POS system experience.
• Must possess or be able to obtain all required alcohol service certifications.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Schedule Requirements

• Flexible availability is required.
• Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as business needs require.
• Ability to pick up additional shifts when needed is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume restaurant, sports bar, or entertainment venue.
• Wine, craft beer, and premium spirits knowledge.
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.
