Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a welcoming environment.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure all beverages are stored properly following food safety standards.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently.
• Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly and adhere to alcohol service regulations.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that enhances guest satisfaction.
• Familiarity with food handling, food safety standards, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Experience in beverage recipe development or beverage management is a plus.
• Background in hospitality industry roles including food service, catering, banquet service, or retail beverage sales is advantageous.
