Duties

• Prepare and serve a diverse selection of cocktails, spirits, wines, craft beers, and non-alcoholic drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences
• Engage with guests to recommend beverages, answer questions about drink ingredients, and provide personalized service that exceeds expectations
• Manage bar inventory by ordering supplies, receiving deliveries, and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth operations
• Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling and processing
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; handle food and beverage safely during preparation and service
• Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting for repeat guests
• Collaborate with kitchen staff on food pairings during banquets or catering events; assist in food service when needed to support overall guest satisfaction

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining or hospitality environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail creation, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer trends
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience processing cash transactions accurately
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Food handling certification and knowledge of food safety standards are required
• Experience in restaurant or banquet settings; catering experience is a plus
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and order calculations are essential
